Pauoa Beach Villa

The design is spare and modern, and the floor plan lets the group gather or spread out, inside and out. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a second Sub-Zero in the pantry, a coffee and espresso station, a washer and dryer, a Sonos sound system, and TVs in the great room, on the lanai and in each suite.

Three suites are in the main building and two have private entries off the central courtyard. Every suite has a large bath with an outdoor shower garden. Two are primary suites with ocean and pool views. The house sleeps 10 in four kings and two queens.

The oversized covered lanai has the heated pool and hot tub, outdoor dining, a bar, a built-in grill station with refrigerated drawers and ice maker, a TV and plenty of seating. A temporary pool fence can be installed for a small fee. Bikes and a six-seat golf cart are included.

Pauoa Beach is a gated oceanfront community between the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection Resort. The Kohala Coast has a desert climate: warm, sunny and clear almost every day of the year.

Pauoa Beach Club is complimentary for guests, with a 100-foot negative edge pool, a beachfront air-conditioned fitness center, locker rooms with private hot tubs, outdoor massage pavilions, a community kitchen, adult hot tub and sand-bottom baby pool. The water in front is good for swimming, surfing, diving and snorkeling.

All Mauna Lani rentals include access to golf at the Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Course, tennis at the Mauna Lani Racquet Club, the Mauna Lani Spa, and the private Mauna Lani Beach Club with its white sand beach and good snorkeling. Mauna Lani restaurants and shops are less than five minutes away.
