The house
You enter through a private courtyard into an entry with a billiard table. The great room has a twenty-foot vaulted ceiling and large sliding glass pocket doors, with sofas and armchairs facing a home theater (Blu-ray and Zappiti players) and a Sonos music system.
The kitchen has a five-burner Wolf range, ovens and microwave, two large Sub-Zero refrigerators, two dishwashers, stone counters and wood cabinetry. A separate dining room seats 12 and opens to the outside.
The furnishings, mostly French, were designed for the house in fine wood, silk and linen, set against dark oak trim and ceilings. Sculpture, paintings and art objects from around the world are placed throughout. The house runs on a solar farm, with the regular grid as backup. A foosball table joins the billiard table for the kids.
