Resorts, restaurants, shops and championship golf are a few minutes away, and the island's best white sand beaches are just down the road. Puako is relaxed and residential, with fewer rules than a resort.

- Reservation fee: $285 plus tax, once per stay.
- Hawai'i taxes: 18.712% on the nightly rate (Transient Accommodations Tax and General Excise Tax).

- 30-night minimum stay.
- Holidays (Easter, Ski Week and Thanksgiving): the full balance is due and non-refundable 120 days before check-in.
