The open great room and kitchen are the center of the house, with warm wood tones and natural stone. The kitchen has Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and there is a two-car garage. The back yard gets the sunset.

Na Hale 1 is a Balinese-style home at Pauoa Beach, with three bedroom pods set around a generous pool and hot tub. The beach and club are a few minutes' walk, or two minutes in the six-seat golf cart that comes with the house.

Each of the three pods is a bedroom suite with an en suite bath, separate tub and indoor shower, and a private outdoor shower.

The resort
Pauoa Beach Club is complimentary for guests and sits directly on the white sand at Pauoa Beach, in front of the Fairmont Orchid. It has a 100-foot negative edge pool with lounges, umbrellas and shade pavilions, adult hot tubs, a sand-bottom baby pool, a kitchen, an air-conditioned fitness center facing the beach, locker rooms and open-air massage rooms. Your key fob lets you walk through the club to the beach and the Fairmont's restaurants and bars, a minute or two away. Turtles often sun themselves nearby.
All Mauna Lani rentals include the 36-hole Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Course, tennis at the Mauna Lani Racquet Club, and the private Mauna Lani Beach Club with its white sand beach and good snorkeling. The Auberge Collection Mauna Lani Resort is a short walk or cart ride away.
